Every job starts with a licensed electrician opening the panel. You get a written price before any work starts, with the DOB permit and the Con Edison items on their own lines. We file the permit, we schedule the inspection, and we label every breaker before we leave. Plaster gets small square openings. Floors get drop cloths. Tenants get their power back the same day on anything that can be finished the same day.
